The CRM tool in use did not offer the required reporting capabilities. As it was based on Microsoft SQL-Server I could retrieve the required information straight from the database. SQL-queries and views, integration in intranet and reporting design took about 2 weeks. The reports are used to support the weekly sales meeting.
